Would you like to relive the dinosaur era?
Then you must visit the Forest of giant Fern Trees. This beautiful cloud forest is like a mysterious enchanted place. It hosts several species of ferns, from the smallest ones (like moss) to the giant fern as high as trees, reaching more than 4 meters high. Most of them are centennial and only grow 1 centimeter per year.

Early in the morning a vehicle will pick you up from your hotel to transfer you to the cloud forest through a scenic highway, where the 2 hour circuit of easy walking in the cloud forest will start returning you back to the period of the dinosaurs. There are plenty of photo opportunities, not just of the misty tree fern forest but also of plentiful bird life like the beautiful and active hummingbirds, mosses, bromeliads and orchids.
