It is understood that undertaking treks, group tours, or any other form of tourism activities, such as expeditions, jungle tours or any other trip arranged by Ruta Verde, involves certain risks and dangers. These include but are not limited to:
• Travelling in mountain terrain, on rivers and in forests and jungle.
• Travel by car, bus, jeep, boat, canoe, rafts, bicycle, or any other means of conveyance.
• Accidents or illness in remote regions with little or no medical facilities and without means of paid evacuation.
• Accidents caused by forces of nature.
• Changes in itinerary or cancellation of tour/trek due to reasons beyond our control.
In consideration of the above Ruta Verde declares that as intermediary between the tourists and the entities or persons called to carry out the services described in the itinerary: hotels, restaurants, transport or others, shall not be liable for their deficiencies or failure of these entities. This includes such failures delays, loss or damages to baggage or goods, seat allocation in any kind of transport or hotel rooms, unexpected cancellation of reservations or any other failure of any kind. Ruta Verde shall not be held responsible for any delay -and its consequences-, loss, injury or damage to any person or property resulting - directly or indirectly - from any act of God, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, quarantine, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department restrictions or regulations, or any other causes beyond our control. Ruta Verde does not assume liability or responsibility for securing the services of any doctor for any of their trips nor is it liable for any medical emergency, evacuation costs, expenses for accident, sickness or death, loss due to theft, or any other reasons incurred by any trip participant. Tourists are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. The participation in tours organized by Ruta Verde takes place on passengers own responsibility and at their own risk. According to the above, the client shall not formulate protests of any kind against Ruta Verde. Each participant is responsible for any equipment rented or borrowed from Ruta Verde.
Payment and Cancellation policy
For all the services contracted, payment should be made before the commencement of the services. Tour Cancellations: If you have booked a tour with us and wish to cancel for any reason, our policy states that a full refund payment is not available. The penalties are:
Cancellation with more than 48 hours notice 50%
Cancellation between 48 and 24 hours notice 75%
Cancellation within 24 hours 100%
Ruta Verde agrees to fully refund any money paid by the tourist in the case of having to cancel a tour for any reason under Ruta Verde's control. If adverse climatic conditions exist or external events disturb or alter the normal course of the country, Ruta Verde reserves the right of cancellation of the tour or part of it, or the modification of its content, always in the best interest and security of the travellers. In case of cancellation the company will withhold 10% of the payment for administrative expenses. If the tour has been initiated, the traveller will additionally pay the expenses made so far. In case of modification, we will make a new estimation considering the changes.
Payment of the tour is taken as acknowledgment and agreement of the above mentioned terms.
Términos y Condiciones
Se tiene conciencia que la participación en caminatas, tours grupales, o cualquier otra forma de actividades turísticas tales como expediciones, tours en la jungla, o cualquier otra excursión organizada por Ruta Verde implica ciertos riesgos y peligros. Estos incluyen pero no están limitados a:
• Viajar en terreno montañoso, en ríos y en bosques y jungla.
• Viajar en automóvil, bus, jeep, bote, canoa, rafts, bicicleta, o cualquier otro medio de transporte.
• Accidentes o enfermedades en regiones remotas con poca o ninguna facilidad médica y sin medios de evacuación pagada.
• Accidentes causados por fuerzas de la naturaleza.
• Cambios en el itinerario o cancelación del tour debido a razones fuera de nuestro control. |
En consideración a lo arriba mencionado, Ruta Verde declara que como intermediario entre los turistas y las entidades o personas llamadas a facilitar los servicios que constan en el itinerario: hoteles, restaurantes, transporte u otros no será responsable por deficiencias o incumplimientos en que pudiera incurrir dicha empresa prestadora de los servicios contratados, tales como retrasos, pérdidas o daños en los equipajes o bienes, asignación de ubicaciones en medios de transporte y en habitaciones hoteleras, cancelaciones intempestivas de reservas y otros incumplimientos cualquiera sea su causa. Ruta Verde tampoco será responsable por cualquier retraso -y sus consecuencias-, perdida, lesión o daño a cualquier persona o propiedad, resultantes - directa o indirectamente - de cualquier acto de la naturaleza, peligros, fuego, accidente, falla en maquinaria o equipo, falla de transporte, guerras, disturbios civiles, cuarentenas, huelgas, incidentes callejeros, robos, raterías, epidemias, restricciones o regulaciones departamentales médicas o aduaneras o cualquier otra causa fuera de nuestro control. Ruta Verde no asume responsabilidad de asegurar los servicios de asistencia médica para ninguno de sus tours y tampoco es responsable de cualquier tipo de emergencia médica, costos de evacuación, por accidente, enfermedad o muerte, perdida por robo o por cualquier otra razón incurridos por algún participante. Se aconseja a los turistas tomar este tipo de seguro en su país de origen. La participación en tours organizados por Ruta Verde tiene lugar bajo responsabilidad y riesgo propio del turista. En atención a lo anterior, el cliente renuncia a formular reclamos legales de cualquier clase en contra de Ruta Verde. Cada participante se hace responsable del equipo de cedido en calidad de alquiler o préstamo por Ruta Verde.
Forma de pago y Política de Cancelación: Para todos los servicios contratados, el pago debe realizarse previo a la iniciación de los servicios. Cancelaciones de tour: Si Ud. ha tomado un tour con nosotros y desea cancelar por alguna razón, nuestra política establece que no es posible la total devolución del pago realizado. Las penalidades son:
Cancelación con más de 48 horas de anticipación 50%
Cancelación entre 48 y 24 horas de anticipación 75%
Cancelación dentro de 24 horas de anticipación 100%
Ruta Verde acepta la devolución total del pago realizado por el turista en caso de que se tuviera que cancelar el tour por alguna razón bajo el control de Ruta Verde. Si existieran condiciones climáticas adversas o eventos externos que alteren el curso normal del país, Ruta Verde se reserva el derecho de cancelación del viaje o la modificación de su contenido siempre en beneficio y seguridad de los viajeros. En caso de cancelación la empresa retendrá 10% del pago para cubrir gastos administrativos. Si el tour ha iniciado, el viajero deberá también cancelar los gastos incurridos hasta el momento. En caso de modificación, se hará una nueva estimación considerando los cambios.
El pago del tour es tomado como un reconocimiento de acuerdo y aceptación de los términos arriba mencionados.
